My work is a culmination of the physical, mental, emotional,
and spiritual aspects I experience at a particular time.
‘Hitchcock black&white’ is a series of work inspired by the music of
Jody Hanks, my friend and musician/songwriter in Minneapolis, MN.
While listening to his CD, I allowed the melody and lyrics to flow
through me, moving the paint as the music moved me.

The decision to use a minimal black and white palette is
reminisce of the original Hitchcock film, ‘The Birds’.
